The website www.commoncraft.com is a website that uses videos to teach users about new technology as blogs, wikipedia, and social bookmarks. The site claims that its product is explanation, and that is exactly what it does.
The website can be very useful. Although I have heard of these technologies, I have never used them are truly understood what they are. The videos are just a few minutes long, easy to access, and load quickly. With the huge push for the use of technology, these could be a good site to have in my favorites.
I guess a few negatives would be that the site is not that pretty if you are into that. Another thing is that if you want to use the video in a classroom setting, you will have to buy a license. This offers an "improved" version of the video. I am not sure what improved means because I did not pay the $18.99 for an individual license or $349.99 for a site license.
As I stated earlier, this website can be a good introduction to this technology. I believe that you will need to seek more help to truly get a grip on these tools. This site is a good start. I would recommend this site to someone, like myself, who is new to all of this.
